Jordan's Summer Reading, 2003

There was a summer reading program the Los Gatos library.

This is Jordan's list. All books were to be to be first-time reads.
Some of his other current favorites are: the T.A. Barron Merlin series, Oz books, the Harry Potter books,
all of David Eddings' books, anything on animals or space, and the Animorphs series.

The summer reading contest ended on August 8th. We brought his list to the librarian who counted his books, after asking if
they were chapter books or picture books, and made sure that they had all been read during the time period of the contest. He
was then awarded a certificate of achievement, coupon for free pizza and a hamburger, a kids pass to Great American and was allowed to pick a free book. He picked Akiko on the Planet Smoo by Mark Crilley. He read the whole book that evening and pronounced it a good start to a series and that he would like to read more of them. Since then, he has read four or five of them.
